Southern Swamp is an location in Majora's Mask. It is in the southern region of the land of Termina. In this swamp there is the Deku Palace, which is where the Deku Scrubs live. The swamp is also home to the Monkeys of Termina. This swamp is the place Link first meets Kaepora Gaebora, the obnoxious owl from Ocarina of Time, and learns the Song of Soaring. Going through the swamp and the Deku Palace is crucial in order to enter Woodfall and the Woodfall Temple.
