Sluggulas, also known by their Japanese name Nuranuru or the fan-made name Bomb Slug, are yellow, slug-like enemies that have appeared in A Link to the Past, The Minish Cap, and A Link Between Worlds.

A Link to the Past

Sluggulas are enemies that are first encountered in Misery Mire, the sixth dungeon of the Dark World. When Sluggulas travel, they leave behind a trail of green bombs in their path. These bombs can cause damage to their enemies, but a Sluggula will not be harmed by its own bomb nor Link's bombs.

Sluggulas move swiftly around and can be easily destroyed by most weapons. Two swipes with the Master Sword will defeat them. If Link touches a Sluggula, it does four hearts of damage. However, usually at the point when Link encounters a Sluggula he already has the Blue Mail. With the added armor, Link still takes two hearts of damage if he contacts a Sluggula. Sluggulas are later found within Turtle Rock and Ganon's Tower.

The Minish Cap

Unlike in A Link to the Past, Sluggulas do no lay bombs and are very slow-moving enemies. It can be found within the Deepwood Shrine and Temple of Droplets. They can only be found when Link is in his Minish form as they are quite tiny. When a Sluggula moves, a trail of slime is left behind As a result of not laying bombs, Sluggula attack by hitting him while crawling around. However, some of them attack by falling from the ceiling on top of Link. He can avoid this attack by paying attention to where the shadows of the Sluggulas are. Once the enemy falls, the Sluggula will be turned onto their back for a couple of seconds, exposing its vulnerable belly. If Link hits the underbelly once while the Sluggula is flipped over, it will be defeated. If the Sluggula isn't exposing its belly, it takes two sword slashes in order to defeat them.

The Sluggula deals damage by making contact with Link. Upon making contact with Link, the Sluggula deals one-fourth a heart of damage.

Sluggula
	Appears in Minish dungeons. They drop from the ceiling unexpectedly. They are slow, so take your time, and defeat them one by one.

A Link Between Worlds

In A Link Between Worlds, Sluggulas act like their predecessors from A Link to the Past, being able to lay green bombs. One Sluggula can be found in Thieves' Hideout while five Sluggulas can later be found in the Treacherous Tower on the 34th floor, along with Chasupas. When these enemies lay a bomb, these bombs can cause damage to Link, but a Sluggula will not be harmed by its own bomb nor Link's bombs. Like in A Link to the Past, the bombs cause Link to lose one heart.

However, these Sluggulas move slowly around the room and make Link lose one heart if he comes into contact with them. Also, it takes three hits from the Master Sword to defeat a Sluggula.
