Slarok are the Dark World counterparts to the Octoroks that appear within the Light World. These enemies are nearly identical to the Octoroks as they'll move around horizontally and vertically, shooting rocks out of their mouths. Much like the Octoroks, the actual rocks themselves aren't really that harmful to Link. If a Slarok hits Link with a rock, it will do a 1/2 heart of damage. However, if Link comes into contact with a Slarok, two full hearts of damage will be done.

Despite their added strength when contacted, Slarok still have rather weak defenses. Link can defeat a Slarok with one slash from his Master Sword.

Slarok can be found on the shores surrounding Ice Lake.
