Skyloft is the main town of Skyward Sword.
Skyloft is Links main town, or hub, in Skyward Sword.
Skyloft is the place Link and Zelda from this adventure were born and have lived their whole life. Nobody living on Skyloft knows what lies on the land below. According to the intro, the goddess - in order to protect the people from the evil that rised from the earth - got all the survivers onto a mass of land and raised it into the sky. This floating isle became known as Skyloft.
Link was born and raised in Skyloft, along with Zelda, and goes to the knights acadamey. The main attraction with Skyloft is that is a seires floating islands.
Skyloft has on it a huge statue of the goddess, a lake with a cavern, a knights school, and a bazaar.
It is a massive home town, the biggest so far in the Zelda seires, and is full witha bazaar, where you can ugrade your weapons, a knigts academy, where you can train and get better with your sword, a boarding school, where Link and Zelda study, a market, where you can buy potions or other itmes and right in the center of Skyloft is a giant goddess statue.
This goddess statue is looking over the people of Skyloft, as it was built in Skylofts godess honor. Link recieves his Sword, the Goddess blade, from inside this statue.
The towns people are totally unaware of the lands below the clouds, and they have their anual "wing ceremony", which uses Loftwings, a bird race, to do various competitions.
