The Silver Rupee is a valuable rupee in all games it appears in except for Ocarina of Time. It is only found in chest in all other games it appears in, in Ocarina of Time it appears in later dungeons and when you collect all the Silver Rupees in a dungeon it will unlock a hidden or locked area such as a door or a chest.

In Ocarina of Time the Silver Rupee is used as a challenge in dungeons. Certain dungeons will require you to collect all the Silver Rupees in a room and it will unlock a hidden area or locked area.

Majora's Mask

In Majora's Mask the Silver Rupee is worth 100 rupees.

The Wind Waker

In The Wind Waker the Silver Rupee is worth 200 rupees making it the most valuable rupee in the game.

Twilight Princess

In Twilight Princess, the Silver Rupee is worth 200 rupees making it the most valuable rupee in the game. An easy way to get an infinite source of Silver Rupees in Twilight Princess is to first collect all 60 Poe Souls, and then give them to Jovani. He will thank Link for collecting them for him, and give link a Silver Rupee. Exit his house. Later, Link can re-enter the house and speak to Gengle, Jovani's cat, who will give Link a Silver Rupee. This can be done unlimited times.

Skyward Sword

The silver rupee in Skyward Sword is worth 100 rupees.
