The Silver Rupee is a valuable rupee in all games it appears in except for Ocarina of Time. It is only found in chest in all other games it appears in, in Ocarina of Time it appears in later dungeons and when you collect all the Silver Rupees in a dungeon it will unlock a hidden or locked area such as a door or a chest.
