The Shield Bash is an attack Link can perform with his Shield in Skyward Sword. Once Link obtains a Shield, he has the ability to perform a Shield Bash. Link can use the Shield Bash in order to avoid his Shield taking damage. Link can perform the Shield Bash in the battle with Demise, and if timed correctly, Link can effectively "stun" Demise, or more give the opportunity to hit Demise once or twice.
