Template:Race The Sheikah are one of the classic clans of the Zelda series, officially introduced along with the Gerudo in Ocarina of Time. In general, they live in and around Kakariko Village. One Sheikah in particular, Impa, has appeared regularly since Ocarina of Time, though she is rarely confirmed to be Sheikah.

Ocarina of Time

The Sheikah are seen as guardians of the royal family, though the only one seen in this capacity is Impa. She appears during the first visit to Hyrule Castle and teaches Link Zelda's Lullaby. She also points Link towards Death Mountain and mentions the village she founded, Kakariko.

In the future, Princess Zelda hides by dressing as a future, and appears often to guide Link through the game. She teaches Link the warping songs, in addition to leaving him more of the game's backstory.

Twilight Princess

The Sheikah are simply mentioned in this game, though Impaz is confirmed to be of Sheikah descent.

Skyward Sword

The recurring Sheikah make an appearance in Skyward Sword, so far only one has been seen. The first Sheikah that we have seen is when Link is running up a small set of stairs towards her while she casually turns away from him. She appears to be a tall thin woman of Hylian characteristics wearing an azure blue suit bearing the very familiar Sheikah symbol. She also has a notable white teardrop tattoo underneath her left eye simulating the traditional symbol of the Sheikah tribe. She has a tan complexion with red eyes and off-white yellow hair, both familiar characteristics as Impa of Ocarina of Time. She has a very long strand of hair hanging down the right side of her face adorned with three beads. On her neck is tight fitting a red banded necklace and her wrists are covered with bandage like wrappings.

She is also seen guiding Zelda into the light with her. This would conclude that she is the Servant of the Goddess spoken of earlier in the game, as she is also featured to be protecting Zelda when Ghirahim attacks them later in the game.

Trivia

• Sheik is known for playing music on her harp in Ocarina of Time. Her harp, or rather, lyre, looks very similar to the Goddess' Harp from Skyward Sword.
