Shard of Farosh's Spike is a material found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Shards of Farosh's Spikes can be obtained by running along Farosh's back and gathering the small spikes which protrude from the edges of the main spikes - note that doing so safely outside the Depths requires Lightning Proof, such as from the Lightning Helm. When fused to a weapon, they make the weapon blunt, but also turn the weapon into an electric weapon akin to a Thunderblade or Thunderspear. When fused to a shield, they increase friction while Shield Surfing, but boost a shield bash attack.

Fifteen shards are needed to upgrade the Cap of the Wild to ★★★★ level, but there are no quests which require them. They can be sold to shop-vendors all over Hyrule for 30 Rupees each, or used as a light yellow dye ingredient at the Kochi Dye Shop.
