Before trying to cast the shadow, the player may want to defeat any nearby enemies. The player can then pick up a snowball near the Log. If the snowball melts, the player may want to walk away from the fire or unequip any fire-element weapons. If the player runs out of snowballs, more are stocked near the stone columns (with a Korok) a short distance north. A pedestal can be found on the side of [[Daval Peak]], viewable from the cabin. At 4pm each afternoon, the pedestal will shine orange. The player needs to stand between the pedestal and the sun, casting a shadow of the snowball over the center of the pedestal. The snowball needs to cover the full center of the pedestal, so players may want to wait a few in-game minutes for the shadow of the snowball to rise. The pedestal will then turn blue, causing the [[Suma Sahma Shrine]] to appear.

Secret of the Snowy Peaks

Secret of the Snowy Peaks is a Shrine Quest from Breath of the Wild.

Begin the Quest

At the south end of Mount Granajh, there are some ruins of a cabin. In the ruins, a book is found on top of a rock. Read the Mountain Peak Log to begin quest.

Guide

Before trying to cast the shadow, the player may want to defeat any nearby enemies. The player can then pick up a snowball near the Log. If the snowball melts, the player may want to walk away from the fire or unequip any fire-element weapons. If the player runs out of snowballs, more are stocked near the stone columns (with a Korok) a short distance north. A pedestal can be found on the side of Daval Peak, viewable from the cabin. The pedestal will then turn blue, causing the Suma Sahma Shrine to appear.

Suma Sahma Shrine

Main article: Suma Sahma Shrine

After all that work, the shrine itself is a blessing shrine. There is a chest containing a Moonlight Scimitar. Then speak with Suma Sahma at the altar to get a Spirit Orb.
