The Scrap Shop makes its first appearance in Skyward Sword. The store is ran by the Gondo, who appears as an extremely skillful mechanic. In the Scrap Shop you have the choice of either repairing your shield or upgrading items using treasures found throughout Hyrule such as the Amber Relic or Monster Claw.
The Scrap Shop will marks a strong turning point in the Zelda franchise, because the Upgrade System adds more depth to the game.
