The Sail Cloth, is an off-white sheet with a blue Loft Wing symbol on the front. Princess Zelda, one of the students at the Knight Academy and daughter to Gaepora one of the headmasters, wears this as a Shawl. Link recieves this as a prize after winning the Bird Riding Ceremony. The uses of the Sail Cloth are simple, as you have to use it when you land on sky island, or when swan diving into one of the three provinces.
