Ruto's Letter is a necessary letter from Ocarina of Time. When Link enters Zora's Domain, he can acquire the Silver Scale in order to dive and swim out from Zora's Domain to Lake Hylia. While there, Link will find a Bottle in the depth of the water. The letter was written by Ruto Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly, asking for help, because she was trapped there. In the letter she also states that she doesn't want her father King Zora XVI to know anything about it. When Link enters King Zora's Chamber and shows the letter to him, he will be surprised and worried, thus he will move aside for Link to save his daughter.
