Rutala Dam is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Rutala Dam dams the East Reservoir Lake for Zora's Domain, and was threatened by the excess of water created by Divine Beast Vah Ruta under Waterblight Ganon's control.

Overflow from the dam feeds the Rutala River, which once flowed freely from the East Reservoir Lake's current location.

A treasure chest behind a bombable wall immediately east of the dam contains a bundle of 10 Arrows.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Rutala Dam holds the water from the East Reservoir Lake from flowing down the Rutala River.

Korok Seeds

  • On top of the Dam, there is a Korok who wants to reunite with his friend. His friend can be found across the East Reservoir Lake. Use a nearby Board, Fan, and Steering Stick to carry the Korok across the water to his friend and get a pair of Korok Seeds.
