The Recovery Heart is a basic method of health recovery, appearing in every game in the Zelda series to date, excluding The Adventure of Link.. Picking one up heals Link by one heart. In most games, it is found by defeating enemies, breaking pots, cutting down grass, or bought in stores. Unlike most items, they are used right away and cannot be stored.
