Quarry Ruins is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Quarry Ruins are located just southwest of Hyrule Castle. The area is quite dangerous as there are multiple Guardian Skywatchers patrolling the area, as well as a Guardian Stalker to the south.

At the east side of the ruins in the watchtower, there is a treasure chest at the bottom that holds five Bomb Arrows. A second treasure chest can be found on top of the guard walkway at the north end of the ruins. Remove the slab with Stasis and open the chest to get five Shock Arrows. Another chest can be found just east of the Katah Chuki Shrine, also on the guard walkway, with this one containing five Fire Arrows.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Quarry Ruins are found just west of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins and northwest of Lookout Landing. A dangerous Gloom Spawn can be found in the area, just south of the Water Reservoir. Fortunately there are some trees nearby that Link can climb to avoid the enemy.

In the fortress wall on the outskirts of Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, there is a small tower. Inside there is a Treasure Chest that contains a Ruby.

West of the Water Reservoir, a bit up the hill, there are some boulders against the wall. Link can break these boulders to find a treasure chest that contains a Soldier's Broadsword.

Ishodag Shrine

Main article: Ishodag Shrine

The Ishodag Shrine is found at the west end of the Quarry Ruins. Titled, A Windy Device, the shrine makes use of Fans to push platforms, elevators, and Link himself to reach the altar.

Next to the Ishodag Shrine, there is a treasure chest higher up, but it is surrounded by spikes. However, there are two Fans nearby, next to the shrine. Link can take what he should learned from the shrine and use it to reach this chest. Simply have the fans face upward and activate them. Then use the Paraglider to glide up and over the spikes. Open the chest to get a Spiky Club.

Korok Seeds

  • Just to the west of the Water Reservoir, there is a Korok Seed puzzle. Use Ultrahand to place the 'U'-shaped block in place to get the Korok to appear.
  • On top of the cliff, just west of the Water Reservoir, there are some fairy lights moving around. Catch the lights to get the Korok Seed.
