The Postman, first appearing in Majora's Mask, is a somewhat frequent character in the Zelda Series. He is very dedicated to his job of delivering mail. This person is often seen rushing about in a mad dash to deliver letters.

Appearances

Majora's Mask

Majora's Mask is the first game that the Postman appeared in. Within the game, he can only be seen in Clock Town; additionally, he is the only postman in the town. The Postman rushes to deliver the mail on time. When off duty, he is either resting, or practicing for his duties. Link can train with the Postman for the opportunity to receive a Piece of Heart.

The Postman is instrumental in the Anju and Kafei quest, as he delivers the various letters that are needed throughout the quest. He also (inadvertently) allows Link the opportunity to meet Kafei for the first time. Because the Postman is a Public Servant, he is not allowed to flee the town on the Final Day. After Link receives the Letter to Mama from the Curiosity Shop Owner, if he decides to allow the Postman to deliver it, Madame Aroma will relinquish his duties, allowing him to flee. He thanks Link by giving him his old job and symbol of office, the Postman's Hat. If Link does this, the Postman will be seen in the ending credits returning to Clock Town.

The Minish Cap

In The Minish Cap, the Postman runs around Castle Town delivering letters. If Link gets in his way, the Postman will pause for a moment before jumping over his head.

A very serious mail deliveryman. He continues to make every delivery right on time every day.

Twilight Princess

Twilight Princess's Postman looks very similar to the one from Majora's Mask. Similarly to Majora's Mask's Postman, he runs around delivering mail. He can be found in Telma's Bar, Hyrule Field (only when he delivers mail to Link), and at the end of the Cave of Ordeals.

Phantom Hourglass

The Postman, unlike his previous appearances, is a member of the Rito race. If at any time a Postbox shows a sign of having a letter addressed to Link, the Postman will show up and read the letter to Link himself.

Spirit Tracks

In Spirit Tracks, the Postman has the exact same appearance and role as he does in Phantom Hourglass.
