The Popla Foothills are a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Popla Foothills are located just north of the Spring of Courage in West Necluda. They gradually increase in elevation as Link moves eastward towards the Dueling Peaks mountain range.

At the west end of the Popla Foothilla, there is a Bokoblin base with both Red and Blue Bokoblins. A treasure chest can be found here containing ten Arrows.

The far west end of the Foothillls overlook the Deya Lake down below. A Fire Wizzrobe can be found here and when defeated, Link can collect its Fire Rod.

Nearby Korok Seeds

Move the large slab, then lift the small rock underneath.

Lift the large rock (using Stasis/Octo Balloon) and then lift the smaller rock.

Location

Get one of the giant boulders to the east into the hole.

Multiple methods are available, such as rolling it down first and then using Stasis to get it up the hill, or use Stasis from the starting position and aim for the hole like it's golf.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Popla Foothills is an open area with a gradual incline leading eastward up the Dueling Peaks.

There are numerous points of interest, most notably being the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower. Initially the Popla Foothills Skyivew Towe is not activated as it needs maintance done on it. Elmerson, a Hylian can be found trapped down below, in the Popla Foothills North Well. Link can help free him by entering through the Popla Foothills Excavation Site. Elmerson will then fix the tower, which Link can activate to gain the map data for the area.

To the south of the excavation site, Link will also find the Popla Foothills South Well, which has a Note on the Table from Chef Aurie Taamu which describes the effects of "bright" ingredients.

At the east end of the Foothills there is small enemy base with a Lizalfos and some Blue Bokoblin. A treasure chest can be found here holding a Dragonbone Boko Bow. Just southeast of the Skyview Tower, there is an enemy camp with a treasure chest that contains a Shield of the Mind's Eye.

To the southeast of the Skyview Tower, Link will find Addison holding up a Hudson Sign on a ledge, looking over the Spring of Courage. Link can use the nearby Boulders to hold up the sign. Addison will give Link a Red Rupee, some Electro Mushroom Rice Balls, and a Sleepover Ticket for helping him out.

Jiukoum Shrine

Main article: Jiukoum Shrine

The Jiukoum Shrine can be found out in the open, southeast of the Skyview Tower. Titled Built for Rails, the shrine requires Link to attach boards to one another and ride them down the rails to reach the altar of the shrine.

Korok Seeds

Near the Popla Foothills South Well, if Link travels to the southeast a bit, he'll find two offering plates. Drop an Apple in one of the plates to get the Korok Seed.
East of the Skyview Tower, there is a Korok that wants to get reunited with his friend. Carry the Korok well to the east, up the southern end of the Dueling Peaks to reunite the Koroks and get the Korok Seeds.
Just northeast of the Jiukoum Shrine, there is some ruins with a wooden pedestal here. Just down the hill, there is a large boulder. Grab it and place it on the three-pronged wooden pedestal to get the Korok Seed.
