Story

The Pinwheel is a part of the Trading Sequence in The Wind Waker. After Link agrees to help Zunari out with his shop, he can travel to three islands of the Great Sea – Mother and Child Isles, Bomb Island, or Greatfish Isle – in search of Travelling Merchants to trade with. After obtaining the Exotic Flower, he can take it to one of the merchants, who will give him a Pinwheel in exchange.[1][2][3] Link must also pay 55 Rupees.[4] After, the merchant makes a deal with Zunari, and he will then sell it at his shop on Windfall Island for the same price.[5] In addition, Link can place it in one of the pedestals found around town for the Joyous Volunteer Association.[6]

Link can then take the Pinwheel to a different merchant and trade it for the Sickle Moon Flag and 40 Rupees.[7][8]
