Pedestal of Time

The Pedestal of Time is the traditional holding place for the Master Sword. The Pedestal of Time is located in many different locations throughout the Zelda series.

A Link to the Past

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past the Pedestal of Time is located deep within the Lost Woods. You can retrieve the Master Sword from here after retrieving the three pendants: The Pendant of Courage, the Pendant of Wisdom, and the Pendant of Power.

Ocarina of Time

In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time the Pedestal of Time is located within the Temple of Time behind the Door of Time. To get the Master Sword] here you need to collect the Kokiri Emerald, Goron Ruby, and the Zora's Sapphire then play the Song of Time in front of the Door of Time.

Wind Waker

In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker the Pedestal of Time is located in Hyrule Castle your first visit. To enter Hyrule Castle you must first get through the Tower of the Gods.

Twilight Princess

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess the Pedestal of Time is located deep within the Sacred Grove which is reached after collecting the Fused Shadow. Unlike in the other games, it serves three functions, which are all totally different from the other functions.

-Link can pull the Master Sword out the pedestal to, you know, get it. -You can put your Master Sword back in the pedestal to remove the guardian in front of the Gate of Time. -in the past, putting your sword in the pedestal will cause some fancy stairs to appear, which will allow you to enter the dungeon (the Temple of Time).
