The Old Shirt is an item found in Breath of the Wild. It is the first Tunic that Link finds along his quest, appearing within a Treasure Chest inside the Shrine of Resurrection. With a base defense of just 1, it is the weakest form of armor and should only be worn if it is the only shirt available. It cannot be enhanced.
After Link has obtained this item for the first time, he will be able to purchase it from Granté in Tarrey Town for 50 Rupees.
