Before walking up the water ramp with the rolling boulders, look to your right. The ball socket is at the far right corner of the bottom of the ramp, and this is the ultimate goal to get the ball into. You'll be using the Cryonis rune to make this happen.
At the very top of the shrine, there is a large orb. The end game goal here, is to get that orb to fit in the ball socket at the bottom corner on the opposite side of the shrine. As you begin to scale up the water, tons of boulders will fall down. There is also a laser that blocks Link's path. Link can use [[Cryonis]] to create an ice block, blocking off the laser. Navigate past the balls to reach the top of the shrine.

The very first pillar you make needs precise placement. It needs to block the laser so you can pass, it needs to be close enough to the triangle ledge for you to jump for it and get the chest, and it needs to be close enough to the gap between the two walls that boulders that hit it go to the right.
Before trying to solve the puzzle, it's worth getting the lone treasure chest that is on one of the platforms. Link can get this by using Cryonis to create an Ice Block. Alternatively, there is a ramp at the back-right corner of the shrine, opposite from where the entrance is. From there, Link can climb on the grating and open the chest to get a [[Zora Spear]] or [[Silverscale Spear]].

Now climb all the way to the top to find the orb that you'll be navigating down to the ball socket. Pop it out from the wall with a Cryonis pillar behind it, and pop it over the first curved platform. It should roll down, bounce off the first pillar you made earlier, and wait just below the next curved platform. If this doesn't happen, move any boulders that are in the way, and keep trying until it does. Once the orb rolls off the edge another will appear at the start again. If you take long enough, eventually the boulders stop coming and it leaves you with just the orb and any boulders that haven't rolled off yet.
Next, it's time to use Cryonis to create ice blocks, push the large orb all the way to the ball socket at the bottom of the shrine. There are numerous solutions to this, but the one below is one of the easier methods.

That was step 1. Once you get the orb stationary above the second curved platform, step 2 is a little easier and if done correctly should only take one attempt. You want to put a pillar against the triangular platform that's just above the ball socket, to block the orb from rolling down the side of the triangle (when it gets there). Then when you're ready, you use one pillar to push it over the curved platform, and it should stop against the pillar you made. Then you use a final pillar to push it over the triangle, into the ball socket.
*First, near the center of the room, the laser shoots in a direction where there is a small opening Link can run through. We want to play an Ice Block right in this area. On both sides there are walls that slope downward. The goal here is to place the ice block so that the large orb will eventually move down along the sloped wall, nudge against the ice block, and then continue down the slope.

At that point the gate unlocks. Head to the altar to get your [[Spirit Orb]].
*At the very top of the shrine, use Cryonis on the back waterfall to knock the orb off the wall.

*Place an ice block directly underneath the orb. This will push it into the area, allowing it to roll down the ramp. If the first block was placed correctly, it will move down the diagonal slopped walls, all the way to the other side of the shrine. It will eventually come to a stop on the other side of the shrine.

*Before lift the orb again, we need to make sure it does not roll down the slopped wall up ahead. Place an Ice Block by the slopped wall down below, so that when the orb hits the slopped wall, the ice block will prevent it from rolling down.

*Next, place an ice block underneath the orb to lift it up. If the previous block was placed correctly, it will land against the slopped wall, but will stop because of the ice block that was placed.

*Place an ice block underneath once again, lifting the orb up. This time it will roll down right into the ball socket.

With the gate open, run over to the altar. Speak with [[Ne'ez Yohma]] to get the [[Spirit Orb]].

You can also use [[Stasis]] on the ball, at which point there are a lot of creative ways to get the ball into the socket.
You can also use Stasis as the ball is about to roll over the edge into the abyss and knock it (gently! one hit) into the socket.  As above, use Cryonis to move the ball out from its pillar, run down to the base (you should be able to do this while dashing) and use stasis just as the ball moves off the water but before it falls over the edge.  Tap it in with a melee weapon (one hit ought to do it.  Two if necessary).

Ne'ez Yohma Shrine

Ne'ez Yohma Shrine is one of the many Shrine of Trials from Breath of the Wild.

Requirements

Pushing Power

At the very top of the shrine, there is a large orb. The end game goal here, is to get that orb to fit in the ball socket at the bottom corner on the opposite side of the shrine. As you begin to scale up the water, tons of boulders will fall down. There is also a laser that blocks Link's path. Link can use Cryonis to create an ice block, blocking off the laser. Navigate past the balls to reach the top of the shrine.

Before trying to solve the puzzle, it's worth getting the lone treasure chest that is on one of the platforms. Link can get this by using Cryonis to create an Ice Block. Alternatively, there is a ramp at the back-right corner of the shrine, opposite from where the entrance is. From there, Link can climb on the grating and open the chest to get a Zora Spear or Silverscale Spear.

Next, it's time to use Cryonis to create ice blocks, push the large orb all the way to the ball socket at the bottom of the shrine. There are numerous solutions to this, but the one below is one of the easier methods.

  • First, near the center of the room, the laser shoots in a direction where there is a small opening Link can run through. We want to play an Ice Block right in this area. On both sides there are walls that slope downward. The goal here is to place the ice block so that the large orb will eventually move down along the sloped wall, nudge against the ice block, and then continue down the slope.
  • At the very top of the shrine, use Cryonis on the back waterfall to knock the orb off the wall.
  • Place an ice block directly underneath the orb. This will push it into the area, allowing it to roll down the ramp. If the first block was placed correctly, it will move down the diagonal slopped walls, all the way to the other side of the shrine. It will eventually come to a stop on the other side of the shrine.
  • Before lift the orb again, we need to make sure it does not roll down the slopped wall up ahead. Place an Ice Block by the slopped wall down below, so that when the orb hits the slopped wall, the ice block will prevent it from rolling down.
  • Next, place an ice block underneath the orb to lift it up. If the previous block was placed correctly, it will land against the slopped wall, but will stop because of the ice block that was placed.
  • Place an ice block underneath once again, lifting the orb up. This time it will roll down right into the ball socket.

With the gate open, run over to the altar. Speak with Ne'ez Yohma to get the Spirit Orb.

Alternative Method

You can also use Stasis on the ball, at which point there are a lot of creative ways to get the ball into the socket.
