Nat is a character in Breath of the Wild
Breath of the Wild
Nat can be found wandering about in the Ginner Woods, located just west of Hateno Village. She is with her sister Meghyn searching for Hearty Truffles, but the two of them get ambushed by the Blue Bokoblin that are all over the woods. They are running away from the Bokoblin, with one of them occasionally being knocked down and left behind. Meghyn entirely blames her sister for the predicament that they are in as Nat is the leader of the two, dictating what the two of them do. Nat is dead set on finding Hearty Truffles, even if it means putting themselves in dangerous situations.[1]
When Nat gets ambushed by a Blue Bokoblin, Meghyn is scared and thinks that it might be the end of her.[2][3]
Even after Link has defeated all the Bokoblins and cleared the forest, the two sisters will continue to search the forest for truffles and will argue with one another. They lean over and search by a nearby tree. It becomes apparent that Nat is only interested in the truffles as they fetch a high price and she is trying to earn a living.[4][5][6][7]
Despite her sisters safety concerns, Nat insists that the two continue to look for hearty truffles. Meghyn reluctantly goes along with this but knows that quicker they find truffles, the quicker they can get out of this situation.[8][9][10]
Nat and Meghyn can also be found in the Sarjon Woods, just southwest of the Faron Tower. Just like in the Ginner Woods, the two are searching for Hearty Truffles and are ambushed by some Bokoblins.[11] After Link saves them from the monsters, the two will continues their search, looking for truffles. Additionally, Nat and Meghyn can be found along the path, just south of the Foothill Stable, once again getting ambushed by some Bokoblin.[12]
Encounters with Nat and Meghyn award nothing towards Link for rescuing them.
Tears of the Kingdom
Nat and Meghyn can be found in Hebra as they try to collect mushrooms. Nat writes a Note on the Table, near their campsite, just east of the Lucky Clover Gazette. The note talks about how the two sisters are searching for precious Mushrooms. They can be found nearby, just outside of Brightcap Cave. Meghyn is a bit more hesitant to jump into the cave and instead asks Nat to go by herself.[13][14][15][16][17] The pair will offer the Side Quest Cave Mushrooms That Glow where they task Link with bringing them 10 Brightcaps.[18][19] After helping Nat and Meghyn collect Brightcap Mushrooms, they will reward Link with a Spicy Tomato Mushroom Stew.[20] They will also mention that they have a secret that they cannot let Link be aware of, calling it "that" in their conversation with one another.[21][22][23][24] Nat seems to want to tell Link more about a secret, while Meghyn is a bit more secretive. The two are planning on traveling further north in Hebra and if Link finds them again, then they will tell Link of what the secret is.[25][26][27][28][29]
Nat and Meghyn later can be found at Snowfield Stable. While mushroom hunting, they set up a tent in Mount Drena Foothill Cave, only to have monsters take over the camping site. They state that they cannot tell Link any information about "that". The pair offer Link the Side Quest The Captured Tent.
For the Who Finds The Haven? Side Quest, Nat and Meghyn can be found inside the Sturnida Springs Cave. [30][31][32] After Link finds the mushroom haven, Nat and Meghyn approach and marvel at the wonder of the treasure trove of mushrooms around them. They are a bit upset that they didn't find the haven first, and state Link can have the mushrooms as he is the one who found the haven. They then decide to continue exploring the world in search of more mushrooms and take their leave.[33][34][35]
