They are so small that even slashing out from a crouching position has no effect on them.  Myus cannot be destroyed unless you have the Downward Thrust. They are usually found near cliffs and jumps in attempt to knock you off to your doom. If one of them is near a cliff, wait for it to just fall off on its own.
