Mount Agaat

Mount Agaat is a location found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Mount Agaat is located at the far western edge of the Gerudo Highlands, west of the Risoka Snowfield. Despite being a named location, Link is unable to climb on top of Mount Agaat; the mountain is an invisible border, which marks the outer border of Hyrule, where Link is no longer able to travel any further.

Tears of the Kingdom

Mount Agaat is again inaccessible, despite being a named location. Just southeast of the mountain, there is a steep decline that eventually leads downs to the Gerudo Desert. At the far northern end of this decline, the temperature gets cold enough where Link needs Cold Resistance. At the edge here, there is a block puzzle which Link can solve to get a Korok Seed.

Trivia

  • Mount Agaat is the only named location on the map that is inaccessible. The lands to its immediate north, west and the mountain range to its southwest are also physical locations that are equally inaccessible.
  • It's the westernmost geographical feature in Hyrule, as well as the only feature in the game that defines the kingdom's western limits.
