The Mother & Child Isles are a location found in The Wind Waker. They are two islands located in the Great Sea. The child island is small and can be reached by boat, Here Link will find the Korok Rown and the Traveling Merchant. The mother island can only be reached via warping by playing the Ballad of Gales. There Link will find the Queen of Fairies who will give him an upgrade to his arrows, Giving him the ability to shoot Fire & Ice arrows.
