Moosh's Flute is one out of three flutes Link receives in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. When the flute player blows into the flute in Holodrum and Labrynna, Moosh the flying bear will be called.
Oracle of Seasons
Link must buy the Strange Flute from the Horon Village Shop for 150 Rupees after gaining the second Essence of Nature, the Gift of Time, in Snake's Remains. However, Link must buy the Strange Flute before he meets Ricky in the Holodrum Plain region located north of Horon Village. Once Link reaches Spool Swamp with the help from Ricky, he will encounter Moosh being attacked by the Great Moblin's henchmen due to them wanting Moosh's Spring Banana for their king. Moosh will become startled by their presence and will eat the Spring Banana. Because of this, the henchmen will start to attack Moosh, but Moosh retaliatea their attacks by pounding the ground, making the evildoers run away. However, the henchmen will return as stated before to get their revenge before they forgot. Link vanquishes the Moblins while one Moblin retreats. Moosh will then thank Link and will help him in his quest to save the Oracle of Seasons by giving him his flute, making the Strange Flute become Moosh's Flute and becoming Link's partner. If Link fails to obtain the Strange flute before going to the Holodrum Plain region, or he actually obtains the Strange Flute by any means, he will be unable to be paired with Moosh.
An early sign that Moosh's Flute will be received is if the Natzu region takes on a wasteland-style terrain with pits and deep gorges.
Oracle of Ages
In order for Link to obtain Moosh's Flute, Link must not acquire any of the Strange Flutes while exploring the Nuun Highlands region that are located north of Lynna City after gaining the third Essence of Time, the Echoing Howl, from the Moonlit Grotto. Once Link has checked the broken bridge that is recently being built, the Prankster Fairies will ask Link to help them find an animal that has recently gotten lost in their woods while playing hide 'n' seek with them. When Link finds the lost animal, it will turn out to be Moosh. Moosh will thank Link for finding him and will help Link in his quest to save the Oracle of Ages by giving him his flute, making the Strange Flute become Moosh's Flute and becoming Link's partner. However, if Link doesn't obtain the Strange Flute before going to the Nuun Highlands, or obtains the Strange Flute by other means, he will be unable to be paired with Moosh.
