Moonlit Grotto is the third dungeon in Oracle of Ages. Link locates this dungeon deep within the Crescent Island in the Present, home of the Tokay. The actual dungeon itself sports two floors, the designs of which are remarkably similar to crescent moons, which incidentally is where the dungeon got its name. Link faces the miniboss, Subterror, about halfway through the dungeon. Later, Link does battle with the boss of the dungeon, Shadow Hag, where he applies the newly obtained Seed Shooter to the best of his ability. In the end, Link comes out on top, winning the Echoing Howl, the third of the Essences of Time, as well as a Heart Container.
