Mini-Moldorms are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. These worm-like creatures are small versions of Moldorms.

Appearances

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Mini-Moldorms first appear in the Tower of Hera, where the boss is a full-sized Moldorm. They are vulnerable everywhere, as opposed to the boss Moldorm only having a weak spot on its tail. These miniature enemies move around in a random pattern, bouncing off any objects they come in contact with and not pursuing Link as some other enemies do. In the Skull Woods, they appear to be guarding its great treasure. They do one heart of damage to Link while he is wearing Green Mail. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Mini-Moldorm (Link's Awakening)

Mini-Moldorms behave similarly to their A Link to the Past variants. They appear in various dungeons and caves, notably the Tail Cave, in which the boss is a full-sized Moldorm.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons

Mini-Moldorms look and act identical to their Link's Awakening appearance.

In Oracle of Seasons, a Mini-Moldorm appears as the guardian of the X-Shaped Jewel. A sign reads, "Here lies the Black Beast", and upon using a Mystery Seed on the question mark-shaped patch of earth, a Mini-Moldorm rises. Upon its defeat, a Treasure Chest appears containing the X-Shaped Jewel, necessary to enter Tarm Ruins.
