Midla Woods is a location in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Woods are located just west of the entrance to Hateno Village, on the south side of the pathway. The forest overlooks Lake Jarrah to the west and Camphor Pond to the northwest. It is home a variety of wildlife and enemies. There are several Red Bokoblin and Blue Bokoblin, as well as some Blue Chuchu.

There is a pathway that heads southward, cutting the Midla Woods in half. On the east side of the pathway, the southernmost tree has an acorn within its trunk. If it is shot with an arrow, a Korok will appear.

Nomenclature

The name Midla is short for Middle. This coincides with the two other Wooded areas surrounding Hateno Village. Just to the west of town there is the Ginner Woods, which is short for Beginner, and to the northeast of town the Retsam Forest, which when Retsam is spelled backwards is Master.
