Medelock is the boss of the eighth dungeon in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'', [[Sword and Shield Maze]]. He resembles the head of Medusa from Greek mythology. Medelock has a few basic attacks. He will shoot laser beams from his eyes, send out balls of energy as he flies around the room, or stay in the middle and shoot orbs from his body in an erratic circle. If you are hit by one of these orbs you will be petrified for a few seconds, leaving you vulnerable to attack. To fight Medelock, you can freeze him using the hyper slingshot equipped with pegasus seeds. Once he is frozen, you can attack him with your sword. After 10 hits from the sword, Medelock will be defeated.
