The Marine Research Lab is a building in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It is located a little ways off of the Great Bay coast. Its only inhabident is the Professor who owns and takes care of the Lab. The lab contains two fish in a small tank, and a nothing in a bigger one.

Plot

When Link arrives at Great Bay, he is tasked with finding all the Zora Eggs. The big tank at the Marine reaserch lab holds all the eggs that Link finds. The player will have to continueously return to the lab as there is not enough Empty Bottles available to capture all seven Zora eggs. Once Link finds all the eggs, the Proffesor tells link that they are hatching. The baby Zora teach Link the New Wave Bossa Nova, which allows him to procede in his quest.

Trivia

•If you drop Fish into the tank that contains the two red fish, one will grow bigger. Once four fish have been dropped, the bigger fish will eat the other and spit out a Heart Piece. •The profesor as the same sprite as the Lake Scientist from Ocarina of Time •There is a clock in the side of the room displaying the same time as the one in Clock Town.
