In Ocarina of Time, the Pooch Lady shares the same model as Mamamu Yan from Majora's Mask. She lives in the Market and is the proud owner of her dog named Richard.
Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask, Mamamu Yan lives in Romani Ranch, where she owns the Doggy Racetrack, open from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M. [1] Here, Link may bet on dog races. If the dog he bets on reaches first place, he wins triple his bet; if it reaches second place, Link wins double his bet, and if it reaches third to fifth place, Link wins what he bet back. Anything lower causes him to lose all the Rupees he bet.[2][3] Link may more easily determine the winner by wearing the Mask of Truth and talking to the dogs, in which case the dog that feels the best usually wins. Once Link obtains 150 Rupees from bets, he is awarded by Mamamu Yan with a Piece of Heart.[4]
Oracle of Ages
In Oracle of Ages, Mamamu Yan lives in her own Home, located near the south-west portion of Lynna City. She is the self-proclaimed top dog breeder in Lynna City, and claims that her dog is much cuter than any other dog in town; however, he is shy.[5] Link can trade the Doggie Mask he obtains from the Happy Mask Salesman to Mamamu Yan.[6] In return, she gives Link the Dumbbell as part of the Trading Sequence.[7]
