Maka Rah Shrine is one of the many Shrine of Trials from Breath of the Wild.
It is entered from the opposite side of where the slit is located within the mountain. The slit in the mountain is near the south of the shrine icon, above the docks. The docks are located all the way at the bottom of this mountain (and you can easily see the docks on the map). Ascend two plateaus and make your way to the opposite side. The opening will be higher up on the mountain, facing the lake. You will see torches like the ones on the docks in a small opening there. You can use the surrounding wind gusts to reach the spot using the Paraglider.
