The Magmanos attack Link by rising out of the lava and making contact with him. The way they attack can be beneficial to Link. If Link stands on rocks found in their chambers, the Magmanos attack from directly below, raising Link safely to new a new area or room.

Here you will take on the dungeon mini-boss, the Magmanos pair. Jump down and stand on the rock to the left. One of the Magmanos will appear and push you upward. Jump over and then perform a jab with your sword on one of the nearby plants. Link will have an orb attached to his sword now. What you want to do is jump back down to where the Magmanos are. Walk around the steel cage on the ground and once one of the Magmanos come up, toss the water bulb at it, and it will turn into solid rock. Slash away with your sword and the Magmanos will crumble to pieces. Repeat this same method with the second Magmanos to defeat this mini-boss.

Magmanos are enemies found in the Fire Sanctuary. One pair works as the mini-boss of the dungeon. Link fights two of them in a room with a mesh floor. Magmanos are giant hands formed from the lava underneath the mesh floor. The palms of the hands glow, and they can in fact only be defeated after being struck by a water bulb, then being hit with Link's sword. Boss Strategy
