The Magical Sword is the final Sword Link will acquire in The Legend of Zelda. It is a sword that is used to attack enemies. It is much more powerful than any other item in The Legend of Zelda.
The Magical Sword can be obtained once Link has accumulated 12 Heart Containers. In the first quest, he could then get the sword by heading into the Graveyard and pushing a specific grave in the top-right corner of the Graveyard. The Old Man inside will say, "MASTER USING THIS AND YOU CAN HAVE IT".[1] If Link has 12 Heart Containers he will be able to pick up the sword. However, if he has less then 12 Hearts, he will be unable to claim it as his own.
