The Magical Sword is the final and most powerful Sword in The Legend of Zelda. It is easily the most powerful weapon Link can use in The Legend of Zelda, as it does twice as much damage as the White Sword and four times as much damage as the original Sword.[2] The Magical Sword can be obtained once Link has accumulated 12 Heart Containers. In the First Quest, he can take those 12 Heart Containers and head to the Graveyard, where, in the top-right screen of the Graveyard, he can push a specific grave to reveal a hidden underground area. Inside, the Old Man says to Link, "MASTER USING IT AND YOU CAN HAVE THIS."[3] If Link has 12 Heart Containers, he is able to pick up the sword. However, if he has less then 12 Hearts, he is unable to claim it as his own. Using the Magical Sword makes most enemies very simple, as one hit defeats most enemies easily.
