The Longshot is an item in Ocarina of Time and Cadence of Hyrule. It is an upgraded version of the Hookshot.

Appearances

Ocarina of Time

The Longshot is an upgraded version of the Hookshot that allows Link to grapple on to targets from farther distances. It can also be used to reach previously unreachable areas and objects, such as Pieces of Heart, Gold Skulltulas, and more. It is obtained after defeating Dark Link in the Water Temple. In the Master Quest, the Longshot is found at the beginning of the Water Temple instead of halfway through.
