Link's Mother is a character from the backstory in Ocarina of Time. One day, she escaped from the creatures and fire of the abysmal Hyrulean Civil War to the Forbidden Forest. She was gravely injured, and entrusted her baby boy to the guardian of the forest, the Great Deku Tree, before she passed away. The Great Deku Tree sensed that Link was a child of great destiny, and was raised as a Kokiri.
Sadly, this is the only game where Link's mother is mentioned. There is still little information about who she was or where she lived. No one knows if she was rich, poor, or anywhere between.
