Tears of the Kingdom in-game description

The Light Dragon's Horn is a material found in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Light Dragon's Horn can be obtained by striking the Light Dragon with an arrow or weapon in the horn. A new dragon part can be obtained from each dragon after ten minutes, when the horns glow brightly again. This is not differentiated between horn, scales, or fang - as soon as the dragon is shot or hit, no more parts can be gained this way until the timer expires.

When fused to a weapon, Light Dragon's Horn has a lower fuse power than other dragon's horn, at 20 rather than 26, and heals Link during use rather than adding an elemental effect to the weapon. If dropped on the ground, they flop around gently as if still alive.

Great Fairies require two pieces of Light Dragon's Horn as part of the cost of upgrading the Champion's Leathers from ★★★ to ★★★★, and one piece to upgrade the Tunic of Memories from ★★★ to ★★★★. Light Dragon's Horn can also be sold to shop vendors and merchants all over Hyrule for 300 Rupees per piece, or used as an ingredient for white dye at the Kochi Dye Shop. Using a piece in any meal whose effect has a duration increases the duration to the maximum of 30 minutes.
