Level 2: The Moon is the second level (dungeon) found in the original, The Legend of Zelda. After obtaining the first Triforce Shard make it to the start screen and head right four screens. Head up two screens and right two screens. Head up one screen and left one screen. You'll be at the base of a large staircase. Proceed to enter the enemy lair.

Boss
The Boss of the dungeon is Dodongo. He has no genuine attacks but occasionally shuts his mouth to prevent you from throwing bombs in. Avoid contact. Place a bomb in front of him and after he swallows two, you are victorious. The dungeon reward is a Heart Container as well as a Triforce Shard.
