Level 1 is the first dungeon in Ancient Stone Tablets (BS Zelda No Densetsu: Inishie No Sekiban). It is located in the Eastern Palace Compound, in the Eastern Palace. Although the dungeon itself is not the same as its A Link to the Past counterpart, it does share similarities, including the Armos Knights boss.

Level 1 can be accessed only in Week 1. In subsequent weeks, the entrance is blocked by a Thief, who will give the Hero of Light a Big Bag containing any dungeon items (including the Heart Container and Ancient Stone Tablet) they did not collect during week 1.

Gaining Entrance

The Hero of Light is directed immediately to Level 1 by Aginah when the game begins in Sahasrahla's Hideout, although the only weapon in the Big Bag they are given is a Golden Bee, requiring mild care around the Armos and Octoroks to reach it. There are no other obstacles.

Main article: Armos Knight (A Link to the Past)

The Armos Knights are almost identical to their A Link to the Past counterparts, save that they take only two arrows each to defeat while blue. When the final Armos Knight turns red, they will still require three arrows to put down.

Between 16 and 21 minutes on the clock, the player will temporarily have infinite arrows, making the fight easier still.
