The Lanayru desert is an area in Skyward Sword where you fight [[Scervo]] and [[Tentalus]]. It was originally a large sea of water, but the technologically advanced civilization residing in the area exploited the land to the point where the sea dried up. The Lanayru Desert contains numerous [[Ancient Robot|broken-down robots]] built by the civilization, as well as a large mining structure.
