The Lamp is the first item aquired in A Link to the Past. It is found right after waking up, in a chest located in the southeast corner of Link's House. With the Lamp, Link can light torches and see in dark places. However, it uses up Magic Power. If Link does not take the Lamp from the chest in his house, he will instead find it in the Sewers of Hyrule Castle.
