The Lakeside Item Seller is a character from A Link Between Worlds. He is the owner of the Lakeside Item Shop. He sells a Scoot Fruit for 50 Rupees,[1] a Foul Fruit for 30 Rupees,[2] and a shield for 50 Rupees.[3]

When Link tries to speak with him, he first simply tells him that he doesn't have much to say if Link isn't buying anything.[4] He also complains about the Swimmer and Mother Maiamai's presence outside of his shop and wonders if he is not cut out for his job.[5]

When Link declines purchasing an item, the Lakeside Item Seller says, "C'mon. Buy somethin'?"[6] This is possibly a reference to the Merchant's "BUY SOMETHIN' WILL YA" from The Legend of Zelda.[7]
