Tears of the Kingdom

Lake Mekar is a very large lake that almost completely surrounds the Great Hyrule Forest. At the west end of the Lake, there is a small island with the same namesake. Mekar Island is completely surrounded by Lake Mekar and Link will encounter an Electric Wizzrobe and a Gloom Spawn on the island.

Just west of Mekar Island, there is a treasure chest in the water, which can be reached by building a raft from loose materials further west. The chest here contains ten Arrows.

Korok Seeds

  • At the southwest part of the Lake, there are some ruins right on the edge of the shore. Just beneath them in the water, there is a lilypad circle. Jump into the center of the circle to get the Korok Seed. A variety of fish can be found in the lake, including Mighty Carp, Staminoka Bass, and Stealthfin Trout.
