Kinstones are mysterious stones found in The Minish Cap used to unlock treasure. Kinstones must be stored in a Kinstone Bag and come in four colors: red, green, blue and gold. When found, kinstones appear broken and have an distinct broken edge in them. In order to fuse the halves into whole Kinstones, Link must talk with someone who is holding a counterpart of each kinstone piece. If fused with a matching half, the Kinstone will "grant good fortune", opening up a secret somewhere in Hyrule.
