Baito (son)

Kashiko is a minor character in The Wind Waker. Although she is never seen in the game, she is mentioned several times by her son, Baito. After Link manages to sort 25 letters, Baito is so impressed that he wants to write to his mother about it.[1] He asks Link to take the note to his mom to a Postbox because he cannot leave his job.[2]

After Link does so, he receives a reply a bit later on from Kashiko. She thanks him for his kindness toward her son and gives Link a Piece of Heart.[3]
