	Habitat: Forbidden Woods Favorite Thing: Makar This plant-monster is a gigantic parasite that lives in the depths of the Forbidden Woods. Only by cutting loose all of its disgusting tentacles with the Boomerang will its tender core be revealed.

Kalle Demos is the boss of the second dungeon in The Wind Waker, the Forbidden Woods. He appears as a sort of Deku Baba-like being that lives in a bulb and attaches itself to the ceiling. After Makar fell into the Forbidden Woods, Kalle Demos swallowed him. The battle with Kalle Demos is vaguely similar to Barinade from Ocarina of time, as Link is using to cut the strands holding him up to the roof.

Battle

When Link enters the boss chamber, Kalle Demos is spread out on the ground, and Makar is shouting out to Link for help. However, once Link gets closer, Kalle Demos swallows Makar and attaches itself onto the ceiling. It will stretch out its tentacles to attempt to attack Link. Link must cut its strings with the Boomerang, and when he has cut all the strings, it will collapse and Link can then strike its head. However, Link must back off after striking it a few times, as it will swallow Link and spit him out. When Link has stroke it enough times to be defeated, it will drop Makar and a Heart Container.
