Walkthrough

Jitan Sa'mi Shrine is one of the many Shrine of Trials from Breath of the Wild.

Requirements

Cold Resistance Level 2 is recommended. Also bring lots of arrows.

Shrine Quest: The Spring of Wisdom

The questgiver for this quest is Medda. During the day he can be found out in the garden, or at night in the building to the southwest (just east of the armor shop).

Upon nearing the Shrine location, you will encounter a giant dragon covered in Malice goo. Shoot the first eye to start the event.

The dragon will fly around. Chase it and shoot the rest of the eyes. Multiple methods exist, however one recommended one is to glide and use the bow in mid-air, this will freeze time (longer if you have a bigger stamina wheel) and allow you to take more precise shots. It also allows you to get closer to your target.

The dragon may move from spot to spot as each eye is killed. Continue to chase and shoot each eye until they are all killed.

You will be taken back to where you started, and the game will ask you to shoot the dragon one more time. Doing so will drop a scale. Pick it up and drop it in the water to reveal the shrine and complete the quest.

Jitan Sa'mi's Blessing

After all that effort, the shrine itself contains no challenges at all. Simply move forward, open the chest, and then examine the altar for your well-earned Spirit Orb.
